Do you love historic rallying and dream of challenging legendary circuits? Then we have great news! Applications for the Roger Albert Clark Rally, one of the most challenging and prestigious events for classic rally cars, will start as early as March 7.
The Roger Albert Clark Rally is an iconic five-day event that recreates the atmosphere of the classic rallies of the 1970s. Competitors tackle hundreds of miles of challenging gravel tracks in Wales, northern England, and Scotland, facing challenges that demand skill, endurance, and tactical thinking. It is one of the most anticipated events in the world of historic rallying, attracting professionals and amateurs alike who want to experience the spirit of the golden era of motorsport.
When and Where?
This year’s rally will take place from November 20-24, covering up to 360 miles of challenging special stages. The race will start in Carmarthen, Wales, and finish in Carlisle. A truly epic journey along Britain’s iconic rally roads.
How to apply?
If you fancy putting yourself to the test, head to the website. Registration will open there on March 7 at 6 p.m. The number of places is limited—only 180—and the demand is incredible! To reserve your place, a deposit of £1000 is required, and the full entry fee will be £5250 (if paid by July 31).
The organizers have provided several categories:
- 25 places – for first-time entrants.
- 15 places – by special invitation
- 20 places – for foreign crews
- 15 places – for Bowler Owners’ Rally Championship participants.
- 80 places – for rally veterans who helped in the organization or participated the most times.
- 25 places – will be drawn by random vote.
A list of accepted entries who have paid the deposit will appear on March 24.
How Will the Race Be Held?
There will be 4 stages in total:
- Thursday, Nov. 20 – start day, about 40 miles of special stages
- Friday, November 21 – 90 miles in Wales, then the route heads north to Carlisle.
- Saturday-Monday – three key stages: Kielder, Scottish Borders and South Scotland with daily rides of 75 to 85 miles
- The final is a long and challenging stage in Kielder, which will complete this marathon
Along with the main event will be the MINI Challenge Kielder, which will take place on November 22. Racers in classic MINIs will tackle 43 miles of special stages, and the stage itself will be part of the MINI Challenge 2025 program.
